George Fillis is the President and CEO of Paschal Capital Advisors, a commercial mortgage and business consulting company. He has over 35 years of commercial real estate investment, development and finance experience through Paschal Investments and San Antonio Research Properties. He has been CEO of Voce Ventures, a Software-as-a-Service company and is on the Board of Directors. From 2011 to 2013, he was founder, CEO and Board Member of Rapamycin Holdings, a biotech company collaboration with the University of Texas Health Science Center and Southwest Research Institute, and funding from the University of Texas Venture Capital Fund.

He has served on the boards or as an advisor to the Greehey School of Business at St. Mary’s University, San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind (SALHFB), City of Shavano Park Planning and Zoning, Bexar Appraisal District, and Golf San Antonio. He currently serves as a member of the City of Shavano Park Investment Committee, Leadership Advisory Council for SALHFB and Advisory Boards for Security Bank and BBVA/Compass.

His consulting experience includes venture capital engagements regarding business development and strategy for Accelerated Genomics, PerfTech, and South Texas Internet Connections. Mr. Fillis earned his B.B.S. from Trinity University in 1972.
